Arsenal youngster signs first professional contract

Arsenal youngster Kido Taylor-Hart signed his first professional contract with the club Monday. Last season Taylor-Hart experienced a breakout season that featured six goals and four assists in only 11 appearances in the U18 season campaign.

It was that kind of production that got the attention of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. Taylor-Hart debuted with the U23’s last October and scored four goals in his first 14 appearances. Since age seven, the 18-year-old has been a part of the Arsenal club since age seven and has publicly said his boyhood club has always been the Gunners.

“I support this club so obviously I want to play for the club and spend as much time here as possible and hopefully progress into the first team,” Taylor-Hart told arsenal.com

With a new professional contract, Taylor-Hart can practice regularly with the first team and feature on match days.
